Celebrate Christmas with a Festive Afternoon Tea at The Municipal Hotel, Liverpool. Available from 24th November - 31st December 2025, excluding Christmas Day.

The Municipal Hotel is located on Dale Street, one of the original seven streets that make up the city centre as we know it today. The hotel is a perfect base to explore the city including its many cultural attractions, shops, bars & restaurants and Liverpool's Christmas markets, located just a short walk away. 

Guests can celebrate the season with an enchanting Festive Afternoon Tea in the elegant Botanic Tearoom, complemented with The Municipal’s collection of freshly brewed teas, or elevate the occasion with a glass of champagne, or a signature festive cocktail. Over the Christmas period, the Tearoom will be lit like a Christmas tree, making it the perfect backdrop to a festive day out.

The Botanic Festive Afternoon Tea is a merry take on traditional Afternoon Tea. Enjoy seasonally inspired finger sandwiches such as turkey & stuffing, brie & cranberry and a festive sausage roll. Homemade fresh scones are served alongside a selection of patisserie including a Christmas pudding choux and mince pie frangipane. To top it all off, Festive Afternoon Tea is served with mulled wine, and loose leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee.

All Botanic Tearoom’s scented teas are naturally fragranced with fresh flowers or natural oils to create vivid aromas and timed to perfection using traditional hourglass timers.

Monday – Friday 12pm-5pm
£45.00 per person or £55.00 per person with a glass of Champagne
Saturday – Sunday 12pm – 5pm
£49.00 per person or £59.00 per person with a glass of Champagne
