The hotel is in a historic location, and was the family home of Charles Long, 1st Baron Farnborough. It has been a family owned hotel since 1931. The Garden Restaurant is within the hotel's stunning gardens, offering up Afternoon Tea with a view.

Afternoon Tea is served in the conservatory. This is a beautifully lit space, with natural light creating a warm, bright atmosphere. There is also access to the garden, so guests can enjoy a pre or post Afternoon Tea walk.

The menu features a traditional Afternoon Tea, including a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and seasonal preserves. To finish it off, there are a selection of indulgent sweet treats, such as the coffee éclair with a tiramisu glaze, rhubarb & bergamot panna cotta and raspberry rosewater Victoria sponge pop.

Afternoon Tea is also served with a range of teas and infusions from The Drury Tea & Coffee Company. Founded in 1936 by three Italian brothers, originally blending tea opposite London's Windmill Theatre before later adding coffee, The Drury Tea & Coffee Company is now named after Drury Lane and remains proudly family-owned, just like The Bromley Court Hotel.

Guests desiring an extra sense of luxury can upgrade to the Sparkling Afternoon Tea, which includes a glass of Prosecco, available for £37 per person. Or enjoy a glass of white or rose Balfour Brut with British Sparkling Afternoon Tea for £41 per person. A Children's Afternoon Tea is available for £15 per child.
