Review & Win: Family Cream Tea Hamper From Devon Hampers

by The AfternoonTea.co.uk Team

The Team at AfternoonTea.co.uk HQ got the chance to try the Family Cream Tea Hamper from Devon Hampers. We took advantage of the latest 'mini heatwave' and took to the park with the indulgent Family Cream Tea Gift Hamper.

The wicker comes with a handy handle and sturdy lock and is packed ready for sunny days, but if they never arrive it creates a beautiful presentation for a picnic at home. The basket can be reused for future picnics and celebrations too!

Open up the wicker to reveal artisan goodies hand crafted with love in Devon, nestled in straw.

This hamper contains everything needed for an authentic Devon cream tea, featuring Devonshire scones, fresh clotted cream and jam, Devon fudge pieces, classic breakfast tea, and shortbread biscuits. The hamper also included two cans of elderflower spritz that are delightfully refreshing.

We were in agreement that our favourite item was the Devonshire handmade fudge pieces - perfectly rich and creamy, with a perfectly crumbly texture that you associate with good fudge.

The combination of flavours between the scones, fudge, tea, and biscuits was met with resounding positivity, as it authentically replicated a cream tea experience. A highlight of the hamper was how well the scones tasted, even after being transported, as the jam and cream still retained their freshness, and the scones remained light and fluffy.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this family cream tea hamper. We were in agreement it would set off a celebration - like a birthday or other gathering and would also make a wonderful gift.

We've partnered with Devon Hampers to gift one lucky winner a Family Cream Tea Hamper From Devon Hampers, enter here now.
