About
Step into a world of botanical beauty with the newly launched Into the Garden Afternoon Tea at Montcalm Mayfair — where Georgian charm graces every detail, and tradition and artistry dance hand in hand.
Curated by Montcalm Mayfair’s Executive Chef Roger Hutchinson, the menu draws inspiration from Constance Spry — the revolutionary florist and culinary pioneer who seamlessly blended food and flowers to create magical dining moments. Her imaginative spirit and boundless curiosity transformed the landscape of British dining, and her legacy lives on in every bite.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, this experience becomes more than an Afternoon Tea — it’s a celebration of conversation, culture, and curiosity. It also honours the enlightened legacy of Elizabeth Montagu, founder of the Blue Stockings Society and champion of refined gatherings and progressive thought.
The tea selection is a bespoke collaboration with Camellia’s Tea House, renowned for their artisanal, hand-crafted blends. Each infusion is an aromatic journey, evoking misty gardens, sun-drenched petals, and the quiet luxury of nature.
Menu Highlights
Savour delicately crafted finger sandwiches, including the iconic Coronation Chicken on Granary and Oak-Smoked Salmon on Rye with Horseradish Crème. Indulge in sweet delights like the vibrant Matcha Opera Cake, elegant Vanilla Mille-Feuille, and freshly baked Scones with Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam.
