Hanbury Manor - HertfordshireWare, Hertfordshire, SG12 0SD

Marriott Hanbury Manor was built in the Jacobean style by Edmund Hanbury in 1890, sparing no expense on a home for his new bride.

A further wing was added 60 years later when the house became a convent and boarding school. In 1990 it opened as a 5 star hotel and country club.

Enjoy Afternoon Tea in the baronial Oak Hall, with it's rich wood panelling, open fire places and views looking out across 200 acres of classic English countryside.
